The White House just responded to Omarosa’s latest remarks in hilariously petty fashion

- Februari 08, 2018

Last night, former White House official and prior contestant on The Apprentice Omarosa Manigault had a bit of a breakdown on Celebrity Big Brother, her latest reality television haunt.

Omarosa opened up about her time in the Trump administration and said that when she tried to talk sense into Donald Trump, other members of the staff attacked her.

On the verge of tears, Omarosa insisted she joined Trump’s team to “serve the country” rather than serving Donald himself. What she failed to mention is that she has been in Donald’s orbit for years, despite the numerous, incessant indications that he is a terrible, selfish, rapist monster. Now she’s trying to distance herself, but one would have to be a fool to believe her.

She contends that she was “haunted” by the president’s tweets before adding that the situation in the White House is “bad” and that “it’s not gonna be okay.” She said Americans should be worried. “It’s so bad,” she said in conclusion.

Today, at the White House press briefing White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah was asked about Omarosa’s comments.

In what appeared to be a prewritten response, Shah made the incredibly petty observation that “Omarosa was fired three times on The Apprentice and this is the fourth time we’ve let her go. She had limited contact with the president while here. She has no contact now.”

At the mention of The Apprentice, someone in the room laughed out loud, presumably taken aback by the fact that a tacky television show had managed to worm its way into the White House briefing.

Shah’s comments are pathetic and demonstrate once again how much Trump has denigrated the gravitas of his office. It’s embarrassing for the entire country.
