A massive chain just abandoned Fox News’ Laura Ingraham over Parkland student mocking

- Maret 30, 2018

According to a new report by the Daily Beast, Office Depot has joined the ranks of nearly a dozen advertisers abandoning Laura Ingraham’s Fox News program after her vicious smear campaign against Parkland survivor David Hogg.

Hogg and his friends took to Twitter to demand Ingraham’s advertisers pull their sponsorship from her program. Although not included as one of the companies singled out in Hogg’s tweet pictured below, the office supply megastore has heeded the call of the grieving teens:

Add your name to millions demanding Congress take action on the President’s crimes. IMPEACH TRUMP & PENCE!

Office Depot joins the likes of Nestle, Wayfair, TripAdvisor, Rachael Ray’s Nutrish pet food,  Expedia, Joseph A. Banks, Hulu, StitchFix, Atlantis Bahamas, Jenny Craig, and Johnson & Johnson in boycotting Ingraham’s show after her comments.

Ingraham did issue a half-hearted apology to Hogg yesterday, but Hogg rejected the sentiment, noting that she only apologized in a desperate attempt to win back her ad revenue.

Kudos to these companies for standing up for what’s right in the face of such cowardice by the right-wing media.
